Lesson 1: Introduction
Meet Xavier and discover everything you are going to learn in this course.
Lesson 2: Structure Preparation
Let's do it! In this lesson you will learn everything you need to assemble the structure of a cake: what materials you need, how to join them, how to give them stability, how to place and prepare them, and make them safe to be in contact with food. A super basic lesson.
Lesson 3: Decorating the Base
Xavier will teach you how to decorate the base with a beautiful wood effect, very easy and quick to make, which will help you decorate a multitude of cakes of any theme and design.
Lesson 4: The sponge cake
Once we have the base prepared, we will assemble the cake on the structure that we have created. You will learn to cut and place the cakes, fill them, ganache them and seal them so that your cake is delicious and very well assembled, without fear of it falling.
Lesson 5: Furniture Decoration
The next step will be to cover the cake with fondant and decorate it into a fun cabinet with drawers. You will learn different techniques to give shape, texture and color to its different pieces.
Lesson 6: Decoration I
In this lesson, Xavier will teach you how to make various decorations for the floor of the room: typical children's toys and a beautiful textured rug that will allow you to learn various techniques when modeling fondant.
Lesson 7: Decoration II
Almost finished, you will learn different shapes to give textures and you will create the blanket that the bear tries to remove from the drawer, as well as the cloth that covers the furniture and the ornament lamp. Again, they are ways of using the fondant that you can apply to various designs and themes.
Lesson 8: Teddy Bear Modeling and Completion
Finally, Xavier will teach you how to model the cute little bear, how to paint it and place it on the structure of the cake. We'll put the finishing touches on our creation, and voilà! It will now be ready to present.

Is the cake completely edible?
Of course yes! The whole cake is made up of sponge cake and fondant, both completely edible.
